Amrep refuse trucks and roll-off cable hoists available through HGACBuy cooperative purchasing contract
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Aug. 4, 2020) – Amrep® has been awarded the Houston-Galveston Area Council (known as HGACBuy) contract RH08-20 for refuse handling equipment. This award extends Amrep’s relationship with HGACBuy, which is on the current refuse handling equipment contract that expires July 31, 2020.
HGACBuy is a national government procurement service designed to make the government procurement process simpler and more efficient for governments and non-profit member agencies.
HGAC members may legally purchase from these competitively solicited and awarded contracts at no charge to them, confident that the solicitation process has already been conducted by HGAC on behalf of its members. This allows member agencies to procure products in an easier, more timely manner while leveraging competitive national volume pricing.
Amrep products available on the HGACBuy contract include front loading refuse collection bodies, automated side loading refuse collection bodies and roll-off hoists.
The new contract award runs from August 1, 2020 through July 31, 2022.
